Getting married in San Miguel de Allende

Getting married in San Miguel de Allende is one of the best wedding experiences I can recommend. This is particularly true if you want your guests to enjoy your wedding in a different way and remember it for a long time.

San Miguel offers many options for your wedding and guests. One of the most enjoyable things about weddings in San Miguel de Allende are the callejoneadas. I have had the fortune of capturing them for both nationals and foreigners and every time, it gives me great joy to see the faces of happiness and surprise of the guests. It is always a unique experience for anyone who has never been in one. Some hallmarks of the experience include the classic Mojigangas, the tequila, the band and the burrito.

Live the experience

Hailey and Mau arrived in San Miguel de Allende a week before the wedding with a full agenda of activities. Wedding tip: They took a workshop of Mexican cuisine, visited spas, toured restaurants, craft stores, the local market, among other places, as a result of the wonderful planning that Solei San Miguel

The week passed and Friday arrived, which was the day of the callejoneada. To our surprise, the weather was not helping us and heavy rain was pouring. Still, the attitude of Hailey and Mau was intact: not even the rain was an impediment for them to enjoy this moment that they had planned for so long!

The callejoneada. This has been one of the most memorable callejoneadas for me, as it showed me that good disposition could transform any moment into something beautiful. Everyone enjoyed the event.

On the wedding day, preparations took place at Casa Cariño a majestic house that the owners rent for weddings and lodging. The reception was at the Instituto Allende, a classic weddings venue in San Miguel. To me, it was an honor to have captured the wedding of Hailey and Mau. Thank you very much for this incredible weekend.
